The Day…   In that Day…   The Day of Judgment

Matthew 7:21: Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22: Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23: And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Matthew 10: 7: And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

12: And when ye come into an house, salute it.

13: And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.

14: And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

15: Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

16: Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

Matthew 11:20: Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not:

21: Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.

22: But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.

23: And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.

24: But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.

Matthew 12:36: But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

Matthew 24: 33: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

34: Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

35: Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

36: But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

37: But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38: For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39: And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Matthew 25:11: Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

12: But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

13: Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Luke 17: 24: For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.

25: But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.

26: And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

27: They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

28: Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

29: But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

30: Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

31: In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.

Luke 21: 30: When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.

31: So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

32: Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

33: Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

34: And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

Romans 2: 1: Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

2: But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.

3: And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

4: Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

5: But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

6: Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

7: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

8: But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

9: Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

10: But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

11: For there is no respect of persons with God.

16: In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

Romans 13:11: And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

12: The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

13: Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

II Timothy 1: 11: Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.

12: For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

18: The Lord grant unto him that he may find mercy of the Lord in that day: and in how many things he ministered unto me at Ephesus, thou knowest very well.

 II Timothy 4: 6: For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

7: I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

8: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Hebrews 10:23: Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

24: And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

25: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Revelation 6: 15: And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

16: And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

17: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Revelation 16: 14: For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

15: Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
